There are several chat forums when you can discuss Highland ponies with other enthusiasts. My favourite is http://chathighlands.proboards.com/index.cgi which is not a large group but serious subjects on all aspects are discussed with intelligent input from the small membership. http://www.highlandponyenthusiasts.co.uk/ is the chat forum of The Highland Pony Enthusiasts club. If you want to participate, you will need to become a member of the club and pay the current subscription. I am not a member so cannot comment on the content but it seems popular. http://talkhighlands.proboards.com/index.cgi is probably the largest chat forum with an (almost?) entirely female membership of around 300! From personal experience, I would say male members are actively discouraged as there don't seem to be any! Generally ideal for teenagers who want to swap pictures of their ponies but not get involved in serious debate. Show biased. http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/ -- while not devoted to Highland pony matters, this is the place to go for general equine discussions and advice. Obviously, a large and varied membership.
